Our Mission
To encourage and
promote the breeding of purebred Shetland
Sheepdogs completely within the standard set
by the American Shetland Sheepdog Club of
America and The American Kennel Club.
To do all possible
to bring the Sheltie's qualities to perfection.
To urge all
Sheltie owners, members,
and breeders to accept the standard of the
breed as approved by The American Kennel
Club as the only standard of excellence by
which all Shetland Sheepdogs shall be judged.
To do all in its
power to protect and advance the interests
of the breed by educating the Sheltie owner
on all aspects of our wonderful breed.
To conduct
sanctioned matches & licensed specialty
shows, under the rules of the American
Kennel Club.
